Legal Issues

Hands On is aware of the continuing need to supply interpreters in all aspects of business and daily living. Federal and State laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the California Rehabilitation Act of 1973 are but a few of the laws directly related to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. Continually acquiring certified and specialized interpreters enables us to proceed in providing services for any and all areas of this arena.

    • Americans with Disabilities Act
    • State Law - Rehabilitation Acts
    • Legal issues in the workplace (accommodations and tax relief).
